Rick's Cabaret
A century-old brick building in River North with decades of tar and gravel on it, no crane access, and a club that opened every night. Revolver crews took it to the deck by hand and put down 12,698 SF of fully adhered GAF TPO in seven days.

Deck to closeout
What we walked onto
Decades of built-up tar and gravel, patched over and over, on a building that predates the membrane era. There was no path to a warranty on top of it. The only answer was all the way down to the deck.
Tear-off by hand
No room for a crane in a downtown alley. Revolver crews scraped, shoveled and swept every square foot of gravel and asphalt off the roof by hand, then sent it over the parapet by telehandler from the valet lot, one dump bin at a time.
The job inside the job
A dozen curbs, vents and a large round kitchen-exhaust base, each one stripped and rebuilt in new GAF TPO. DensDeck cover board went down first, then the membrane was fully adhered with low-rise foam. Every seam hot-air welded and probe-tested.
Closeout
Seven working days, July 18 to 24, 2024. The club traded every night of the job.
From the roof
Every Revolver project is photo-documented from mobilization through closeout. These are from the job.
