Re-Roofing

Commercial roof replacement

Tear-off and recover for TPO, PVC, standing seam metal and shingle roofs — engineered to code, documented, and warranted.

Replacement & recover

Re-roofing done in the right order

Most failed commercial roofs fail at the details — perimeters, penetrations, drains and curbs — not the field. A Revolver re-roof starts with finding out what is actually wet and why, then designing an assembly that meets current code, the building's wind exposure and the warranty you want.

What's included

  • Moisture evaluation and core cuts to decide tear-off vs. recover
  • Tapered insulation design to eliminate ponding at drains and crickets
  • Cover board options for hail resistance (1/2" gypsum cover board for 2.0" hail rating)
  • Mechanically attached or fully adhered TPO/PVC, standing seam metal, or shingles
  • Perimeter and corner enhancements to the required wind uplift zone
  • Edge metal, coping, counterflashing and gutters
  • Daily photo logs, final inspection and manufacturer warranty

Buildings we re-roof

Retail and strip centers, medical and veterinary clinics, hotels, senior living, multifamily, offices, schools, churches, warehouses and light industrial — roofs from about 2,000 to 30,000 square feet.

Re-roofing FAQ

Should a commercial roof be recovered or torn off?

It depends on moisture. Code generally allows one recover over an existing roof if the deck and insulation are dry. Revolver runs a moisture evaluation first; wet insulation gets removed. A recover saves tear-off and disposal cost but must still meet current energy code and wind uplift requirements.

How long does a commercial re-roof take?

Most 20–300 square roofs run one to four weeks on the roof, driven by tear-off depth, insulation build-up, weather and occupied-building logistics.

What warranty comes with a Revolver re-roof?

TPO re-roofs on the McGuire FlexGuard system carry a manufacturer NDL warranty up to 20 years, issued under Revolver's own installer ID, plus Revolver's workmanship warranty.
